It has been a historical and common issue that Chinese teaching efficiency in China,especially, Hainan is pretty low and varies degrees in different regions. While the reasonsresults into this situation is not totally the same if we have a national review. There is a directrelation between the low efficiency of Hainan High school Chinese teaching and the uniqueregional environment which has helped to form the unique culture in Hainan. And it is thisregional environment and the unique regional culture that raise a special claim for theselection of the high school Chinese teaching materials and the design of the high schoolChinese examination questions. The regional environment and the regional culture alsostrongly restrict the Chinese teachers’ structure and teaching organizations and the recognitionand comprehension abilities of the students in Hainan high schools. It is not possible toreshape the regional environment or reform the regional culture in a short period. In thecontext that College Entrance Examination System has been commonly carried out all overthe nation, it will be a good choice to break away from this low efficiency situation in the wayof providing policies support, improving teachers’ and students’ performances, developingteaching materials, updating teaching facilities and designing proper examination questions.
