Nowadays, the teaching and learning of geometric proof plays an important role in the middle school period, and it is a significant way to develop students' abilities of logical thinking. In the outlying districts, how about development of minorities students'abilities of geometric proof, what are their distinguished features? Those questions are tasks which are to be studied and solved further. In this article, according to the cross?cultural method and ideology, from the angles of qualitative and qualitative analysis, we gathered a great deal of material about the Han nationality students'and the BouYei nationality students' cultural background, ethnomathematics, individual thinking activities and circumstance factors. And made a comparison between the Han nationality and the BouYei nationality students' in learning geometric proof, we sum up the defferences between learning geometric proof abilities and the general proof process. Above all, we conducted a teaching and learning microexperimental reform about geometric proof, and drew such conclusions:l.Both nationalities' students showed a consistent thinking structure in learning ge-metric proof ajid also showed the defference in proof levels and standards, students of the different districts, the different nationality or the same nationality, have.diversities in the development of geometric proof abilities; students of the same district with either the different nationality or the same nationality, have no remarkable diversities. While the male or female students of the different district because of the different economic levels have remarkable diversities, the students of the same district, under the similar economic circumstances, the sexual difference was not outstanding. 2.The development of many essential elements in the ability structure of students'geo-metric proof are not balanted.But, the problems that are shown in students'learning geometric proof have the similarity or generality, which are shown students of the different nationalities in different districts have some typical, general features in the thinking method of understanding and solving problems, the types of mistake, the tactics of solving problems.3. Through the experiment of renewing teaching and learning content and method, we can promote positively the development of some features about students' geometric proof. But we have no essential breakthrough in the development of constructing proof and the logical ability.
