British mathematics educator he has pointed out: the history and culture of a nation, in mathematics study the importance of our nation, as well as the necessity of mathematics curriculum reform on issues such as a traditional concept formation, which affects the development of the school curriculum.In 2001, the new curriculum reform in our country in the full-time compulsory education mathematics curriculum standard of mathematical culture is reflected.Ordinary high school mathematics curriculum standard is clearly put forward the mathematical culture for students learning requirements.National culture become the important factors influencing the mathematical education, how to solve the cultural diversity under the background of basic education in China is uneven phenomenon of cross-cultural mathematics education is the current urgent attention.This research attempts to base in the province part miao Han geometry study status quo of junior high school students, through the questionnaire survey questionnaire testing, and micro teaching experiments to explore Miao Han geometry in junior high school students ability difference under different cultural background and analysis on the reasons of the differences.The main research conclusions are as follows:1.National cultural background on the attention of the miao area teachers and students of geometry of the miao culture too.Teachers lack of process for the culture of the current teaching material, student learning graphic material source is limited.2.Look from the geometric ability test scores:On the one hand, the ability of geometric cultural background differences, the geometry of the miao students ability weak amalgamations students generally;On the other hand, under the same cultural background of different ethnic students’ ability of geometric difference.3.The ability of geometric classification comparison shows that students geometric difference between different ethnic groups mainly by spatial reasoning proof ability.4. Teaching environment geographical environment, economic condition of family environment will produce certain effect to the student mathematics learning beliefs, which in turn affect students geometry concept.In addition, the author thinks that strengthening teachers’ geometric quality in national regions Correct view of students’ learning in national regions and increase the recognition of parents of mathematics education is to realize the important way of improving the quality of national education...
