The hope of progressing of Human society is education. The key factor of educational quality is education. And the key factor of education transform is teacher yet. So what teacher play roles determine the growth of students and the achievement of educational goal. it is profound meaning in theory and practice. In this dissertation author try to probed into teacher roles in net age with academic thinking and build a clear vision on teacher roles in new era.This dissertation includes six parts.In Part I, The author think human has been walking into net age. And The basic concepts in relation to this dissertation are defined as follows: net, roles, teacher roles.In Part II, the necessary of changing teacher role in net age was opened out. It was achieved through the analyses on these aspects: net changing education goal, as well as content of education, education organize style, the society foundation of education; the change of mode of culture transfer in education, impacting on student and on teacher.In Part III, systemic analyses are done on traditional teacher roles as well as the localizations and sources of that. There are four kinds of traditional teacher roles. They are knowledge initiator, deputy of parents, strict supervisor, models student following. After analyzing the localizations of traditional teacher roles, author believes that the sources of the localizations are showed as next three aspects: 1, Ignoring intercourse nature of education process, idea of education process plunge into dualistic pattern of subject and object; 2, Ignoring internal feelings of student and construction of structure of internal knowledge, idea of study plunge into behaviorism; 3, Value education still built on the foundation of unitary value, ignoring the fact various value existed.In Part IV, author tried to erect the teacher roles in net age and bring forward seven kinds of teacher roles. I, teacher as mentor and promoter, including three aspects:teacher as mentor and promoter of constructing themselves by student; teacher tutoring or promoting study of students in the environment of studying through media; teacher as mentor and promoter of moral studying of students. 2, teacher as innovator. There are two aspects in this role: teacher as pursuer and teacher as developer and deviser of course.3, teacher as annotator of culture. 4, teacher as collaborator of student studying, of between teacher and teacher as well as specialist, of parents.5, teacher as learner. It is requirement of age, and is internal inevitability of education. 6, teacher as adjustor of mental healthy of one. 7,teacher as manager of school.In Part V, the author tried to put forward some strategy of changing teacher roles in net age. First is changing idea of teacher. Second is improving information2accomplishment of teacher Third is fostering structure of various knowledge and ability Fourth is incorporating teacher education of pre-service and in-service and build a teacher training system for lifeIn last part, the author put a dialectic analysis on the relationship between technology and teacherChanging age need changing education, changing education need new teacher So discussing the new teacher roles, is not a kind of instrument to simply forecast the function of future teacher, and that is a kind of instrument to actively promote transform we need Therefore, oniy after deep understanding teacher role in net age, we can have clear understanding on function teacher should bring into play...
