During the course of development for eighteen years, focusing on"the requirement of era"and"the requirement of practice", the MBA academic degree education in China underwent a course of imitation and innovation to re-imitation and re-innovation. Compared with the period when the MBA academic degree education was first introduced into China, the social environment of that has made a great change. The scale, level and standard of requirement on management talent are both various and dynamic, result in serious situation of deviation from China's actual conditions in the MBA academic degree education in China.Bearing the important task of training numbers of qualified management talents for the development of market economy in China, on the bases of endless innovation and exploration it gradually formed an education mode according with China's actual conditions, applying to socialistic market economy and gearing to the international management education. Based on the comparison of the category and history track of the MBA academic degree education in China, USA and Japan, this paper anatomizes the new development and characteristics of the MBA academic degree education in the three countries, dissertate that applying to the requirement of society development is the inherent requirement and motivation for the emergence, reformation and development of the MBA academic degree education. Combined with the results derived from theoretical research, the paper distills the enrollment mode, teaching techniques and evaluation mode of education quality in microcosmic longitudinal comparison level and the hierarchical structure and requirement for professional manager, the guidance on obtaining employment educational management system in macroscopic transverse comparison level as elements in the analysis and evaluation of the applicability of the MBA academic degree education. It is reflected that in China the operational efficiency and selection effect of the enrollment mode are low, the teaching techniques and evaluation mode of education quality do not apply to the requirement of MBA talent training very well in microcosmic level, and the hierarchical structure and requirement for professional manager is out of line, and the guidance and service on obtaining employment have problems of morbidity in organization, faultiness in function and severe deficiency in guidance and education of career development in macroscopic level. The existing management system in China restricts the development of the MBA academic degree education.Aiming at the situations aforementioned, concerning with the function and relationship of the elements mentioned in comparison of the MBA academic degree education with USA and Japan, on the level of the microcosmic operation and the macroscopic policy and institution, the paper proposes corresponding strategy and suggestion.
