Developing Students' Psychological Qualities In Writing

In Chinese schools,the teaching of writing confronted with low efficiency, which in our opinion is caused by the test-based educational system.Writing is a mental activity.It is concerned with the wntez抯 intellect and psychology.So the single way to improve our students?writing sbility is to enhance their multiple qualities.In this article,we try to put forward some ways,based on the achievement in psychology,educational psychology and writing psychology,to develop the students?psychological qualities:interest,thought sad emotion.First,evoke the students?interest in writing.The teacher can make use of the students?interest in given articles,and turn it into the one in wrtting In writing practice,be should constantly encourage the students抎esire to discover.Hesides,he should stimulate the students by letting them sense the achievement in wnting~Secondly,get the students to think actively and creatively in writing practice. School students are in the process of psychological developnent,so it is necessary to take into accouht their actual power in thinking.The teacher sharpen the students?thoughts by mobilizing their intrinsic faculties of imagination and association.He should further inspire the students by analyzing articles in reading classes.Also,he should help the students to divertsify their trains of thought ~aad help them to balance their knowledge and practice when checking their compositions.And he should train the students to think ordertly.Third,help the students to cultivate their emotions in writing. Emotional cultivation means that the students should be trained to advocate virtues and reject what is wicked.From this point of view,the teacher should instruct the students to accumulate emotional experiences by learning from their personal Iives.He should also help them to deepen and widen their emotional experiences by enlarging their knowledge.ln addition.Jie should help to foster the students?ability to output their real emotion through writing.In conxlusion,it is the requirement of the quality-based educational system that we should practically improve our students?writing ability by developing their psychological quality in writing.
