The research on Chinese teaching has never been stopped since the new China was founded. Especially in the recent decades, with more study of Chinese teaching, more problems have been found. Chinese teaching has become the only one subject that has been greatly reformed but criticized the most among all high school subjects. There are a lot of different opinions on Chinese teaching. Limited by test system and methods, reformation has been slowed down. As a result, a good number of Chinese teachers cannot make changes at will. They don抰 even dare to make any efforts to change the way of teaching. Therefore, the most critical change for our country抯 Chinese teaching that should be made is to change the textbook contents, test system and test methods. It is not only unfair but also ineffective to blame the Chinese teachers who work hard day and night for the unsuccessfulness and slow speed of reformation of high school Chinese teaching. I have done some thinking and study on a few main problems of high school Chinese teaching, which are examined and expressed in this article.
