Along with the further comprehensive development of China's socialist modernization and its entry into the WTO which contributes to its gradual contact with the world development. University construction is open to opportunities and challenges. Nowadays, the tock of top priority is, under the quittance of the correct theory how to seize the unprecedented opportunities, and to conquer the probing, then posh the university construction to a new stag.In view of the trend of current social development and present situating, this paper, on the basis of relative theory of the office management, analyzes the problem in the process of university constriction, and presents the corresponding strategies accordingly.This paper presents the present situation concerned with the office administration as a introductory part. In face of the rapid development of society, relevant theory dslways lay behind. The research into some new problems is stiu left vacant. Therefore this thesis chooses the new problems which have emerged in the worse of office reform of universities, as its research aim.Firstly, this thesis, in wmbination with the reality, presents relative theory about office administration. It beggars with the definition and dissociation of the office and affaires the definition of the office administration. Then it staty the importance of the office administration in the university administrate, and the function and principles of the office administration. The inclusion is that the office administration serves as a hub and window for the whole university. The tock of the office is implicated, in duping. Assistance of the strategies between departments, management of information, coordination of relationship, implementation of regulation, management of meetings, and daily affairs, solf-construction of theoffice Its principles involve, principle of coordination, principle of service, principle of university construction and principle of inn oration. After that, it points owt the general feature of the office administration, comprehensive, cooperative secretive passive.Secondly this paper probes into the challenges wifronting the office administration in rellic and sharp tone. It gives detailed statement in three respects. First, wording to the challenges from the internal depart ment, it provide how to parity the duty and accomplish is. Second, in ternis of the challenges resulting fromthe qualities of the office staffs ------ politic quality, professional quality andmental quality, it puts forward overall questions. Thirdly, in view of the challenges related to the office equipment, and technique, it offers the problem about the equipment purr cheese usage and maintenance.Thirdly, the thesis provide corresponding countermeasures about the development and improvement of the suffice administration, in four aspects accordingly. They are the following: the transformation of functions and the scarification of aims, which play a great part in the achievement of the office task; the focuy of polity, study union and coordination, and the stress of principle efficiency honesty and service; the promotion of the service and results; the realization of the office automation, the construction of incept, contingent, software and hard wore are the prerequisites for the office automation.
