With the development of information technology, In particular, the developmentsof network technology, the computer increasingly become an important andindispensable tool in people’s routine work. With the network and computertechnology, the office automation system for Education Departments have a veryimportant role in to improve office efficiency, optimize business processes, saveoffice expenses, strengthen the sector among employees, collaboration between theDepartment of Education and school. This study will combine the development ofinformation technology and network technology, through a full analyze ofinvestigation and detailed design, put forward the actual needs of the officeautomation system function design for Chengguan District of Lanzhou CityDepartment of Education.In this study, has gone through three stages, Literature review and existingsystems analysis phase, the business flow combing and requirements analysis phase,system design stage.In the literature review and existing systems analysis phase, this study analyzesthe development of office automation system in domestic and foreign, and detailedfinishing on the function and structure of the domestic commercial office automationsystem. Provided operational reference for the detailed design of the officeautomation system in Chengguan District Department of Education.In the business flow combing and needs analysis stage, we detailed combing thebusiness flow for the administrative office, Office of Party Committee, PersonnelOffice, Finance Section, other departments in Department of Education. According tothe business flow analyze the demand for office automation systems.In the system design stage, this study is according to the informationconstruction status and demands of Department of Education. Comprehensiveanalysis of the best practice case and system architecture. Introduce the concept, theoverall system architecture and function module design for the office automation.Office automation system has9functional modules, they are official documentcirculation, management of administrative affairs, management of personal affairs, management of personnel files, asset management, communication platform,information reporting system, system settings, auxiliary functions.
