With the development of Internet and computer science, the electronic information resources (EIRS) are becoming an important way in which the information is transferred and dealt with. One of the important reasons is that EIRS have characteristic of convenient transmission, easily obtained and edited. The using of EIRS also has a great impact on teaching model and concept. Under the information environment, teaching needs abundant supportive information resources and emphasizes the need that the interactive communication activities should be built between learners and resources and that a reasonable cognitive structure will be formed actively. The EIRS management system based on network for teaching activity is an effective way to manage the concrete teaching EIRS and the latent teaching EIRS. The system can offer the learners well-constructed and well-ordered information resources. The essay uses the E-file life span theory in the study of archives for reference. According to the use of E-information, the whole life span of the E-teaching information resources can be divided into 4 phases:coming into being, organization and storage, searching and utilization, reorganization and filing. The management of the E-teaching information resources is a whole-course management, during which the characteristics of each processes should be fullly considered. And then, the thesis gives specific analysis of the 4 phases, through which the author points out the methods and principles of the management. Finally, the eassy probes into the construction of the E-teaching information management system by analying and designing a specific E-teaching information management system.
