It is crucial for children to acquire good personality and sociality in thisCo-operative age . In the wide field of the preschool education reform , theMulti-age Class is a teaching organization which is good to the children'personality and sociality. On the base of the above view, it's pretty urgent forus to study Multi-age Class teaching.Based on the Bandura Social Learning Theory and J.Piaget Cognition Developing Theory, the thesis expounds the original, history and educational function of Multi-age Class according to the relationship between Multi-age Class and children development. Researcher fully demonstrates that Multi-age Class is an important organization in preschool education, and it's a key-point to make modem preschool educational ideas and practice together.The thesis analyzes the problems in Multi-age Class teaching with qualitative research method, pointing out educators have already identified some basic ideas of preschool education through years of education reform.But their cognition of Multi-age Class remains obscure because educatoas failed to realize the nature of Multi-age Class. All this lead to the bias of teaching practice, such as backward teaching design, old and unbalance content, confused teaching arrangement and teachers' empirical behavior, etc.Children' positiveness is severely constrained so that humanity-orientation hasn't been developed.By the analysis of the current situation, the thesis puts forward some strategies for promoting Multi-age Class teaching quality.First, the view of new ideas must be set up in order to upgrade the cognition of educational administrative and parents so as to enforce supporting system. Second, advanced ideas should be put into the guidance of teaching design to optimum children' everyday activities. Finally, children are encouraged to learn co-operatively and actively. The strategies should be penetrated into concrete and operational skills. The ultimate aim of the study is to cause the children' body and mental harmonious development to the most degree.
