It has been nearly ten years since multi-media were put into Chinese class. This measure helps train the students to love native language and to use language effectively as a tool to express meanings. It also helps teachers to finish teaching task and improve the quality of teaching. In a word, it is of great significance for us to promote the modernization of education.In this paper, the author uses such research methods as document method,investigative method,comparative method and so on to do research on the multi-media use in Chinese class teaching and make a serious thinking of the problems appeared in practice. In introduction, the author first defines some concepts such as multi-media, then analyses the use value of multi-media in Chinese class teaching, and last concludes the development and research results of the multi-media use in Chinese class teaching. In Chapter One, the author analyses the present condition of the multi-media use in Chinese class teaching by outlining several methods of using multi-media in Chinese class and the concrete response from teachers and students. In Chapter Two, based on investigation and research, the author concludes several areas of error of the multi-media use in Chinese class teaching. In Chapter Three, the author proposes improving measures in accord with theses areas of error. Then the author makes a further illustration of the concrete implement plan of the multi-media in Chinese class teaching according to the author's experience and present materials.
