Class-teaching is the major channel to carry out and push ahead the reform of the new curriculum. With the deep-going of the reform, the multi-evaluations on class-teaching are playing a more and more important role. How to form a scientific multi-evaluating system that fits in with the principles of the new curriculum and perform it so as to promote the development of the students and teachers and promote the practice on class-teaching has become a complex theoretic problem and also a practical one, which is extremely meaningful and in great need of solutions.On the basis of describing the theories and general practice on the class-teaching evaluations nationally and internationally, this paper makes a study of the evaluating system on class-teaching in the middle school. The main content is as follows:1. Through literature research, comparison and analysis, questionnaire and interview, the paper conducts a survey on the current situation of the class-teaching both at home and abroad and concludes the main problems existing in the evaluations on class-teaching in China by analyzing them. It also clarifies the essence and characteristics of such evaluations, with the intention of offering reference to the study of the class-teaching evaluations in the middle school.2. Based on the"people-oriented principle"of the new curriculum, facing the existing problems in the current class-teaching evaluating system, consulting the evaluating system on class-teaching in the European and American countries and making use of the relative theories of Pedagogy, Psychology and Educational management, the paper clarifies the tendency of the evaluations on class-teaching.3. The paper gives a tentative study of the theories and practice of the multi-evaluations on class-teaching and clarifies how to use the evaluating system to stimulate the teachers'and students'enthusiasm in work and study, how to evaluate the quality of class-teaching, how to establish the evaluating system and how to work out the evaluating indexes on class-teaching. Thus we can form a class-teaching evaluating system, which is grade-separated and can show the development of the students and teachers. The paper also makes a positive and applied study of the multi-evaluating system on class-teaching.
