Research On Vocational Education Theories Of Huang Yanpei

With the development of national capitalism in China, modern vocational and technical education with distinct Chinese characteristics came into being accordingly. Huang Yanpei, the famous educationist, was one of the advocates of vocational education. Based on some principles of modern education theories, the situation of China and his teaching practice, he established a comprehensive theoretical system for vocational education. Huang's theories and teaching practice, a treasure in the history of Chinese education, can still be regarded as a reference to contemporary vocational education in China. Therefore, the research on Huang's theories has both historic and realistic significance.Based on the investigation into the related literature, the author, in the following thesis, analyses the formation and the development of Huang's theories of vocational education, and the principles of the theories. Besides, the author also makes a brief evaluation on them and their influence on contemporary vocational education in China.The thesis includes the following five parts:Part â…  Brief introduction about Huang Yanpei's life and his teaching practice.
