The advent and development of modern Information Technology (IT) leads to the epoch of E-learning,which infuses the fresh might into the development of Computer Assisted Instruction(CAI). Thus makes CAI become core of the integration between IT and all sorts of subject instruction. Based on the literature search and the practice,we have realized that life of CAI lies in quality of CAI software and the integration between it and subject instruction. Instruction Design (ID) of CAI software is the most decisive factor to the quality of CAI software. Based on the investigation of CAI software on market and theirs use in the middle school by teachers,we bring forward a kind of notion about adaptive mathematics CAI software. As to systemic function of the adaptive mathematics CAI software,except for its teaching,its practicability and flexibility,we emphasize a remarkable character on the adaptation that is realized in the sight of its ID. As to its configuration,we integrate the existent platform,where we have emphasized ID of adaptive learning environment,which make it flexible and on-limits.The focus of this dissertation is ID of adaptative mathematics CAI software. Based on the understand of modern mathematics conception which is a start of ID,we integrate all sorts of ID models,and probe into a kind of radical ID model for adaptative mathematics CAI software,and then we detailedly make descriptiveor prescriptive ID for the adaptive learning environment. In great aspects,we make two adaptive learning environments in order to aim at dissimilar students' need. One is primary learning environment,i.e. knowledge-problem environment,where students may inherit mathematics knowledge,they first acquire some knowledge,and then solve some basic problems or well-structured problems,which has similarity to traditional learning;the other one is senior learning environment,i.e. problem-knowledge environment,where based on solving ill-structured problems,students may construct mathematics. By "doing mathematics" or exploring "mathematics experiment" ,they may invent or discover some new mathematics knowledge by themselves. This is a challenge to traditional learning,which belongs to innovative learning .In microcosmic aspects,based on Broad Sense of Knowledge Idea,we make ID for primary adaptive learning environment,while based on Cognitive Flexibility Theory,we make ID for senior adaptive learning environment.Based on ID study of adaptative mathematics CAI Software,we try to construct the imaginable model of adaptative mathematics CAI Software and also attempt to make some typical learningwares,which consist of the core of adaptative mathematics CAI Software. These will only be accessories of our study.
