Internet Based Distance Education

Distance education is a new form for education that based on networks and computer and communication technology.This thesis focuses on technology of distance education. At first,we analyze the actuality of distance education,summarize the characteristic of it and forecast the future of it.In the following section,we analyze the functions of the distance education system. Talk over the system function module and user function module.For distance education system,the key technologies include database technology,multimedia technology and network technology and so forth.At last,we analyze,design and implement two subsystems of real time alternating teaching system and web based exam system.
