With the development of information technology, increasing social demand for softwaredevelopment professionals. Now one of the world’s most popular software development toolsJava, more widely used in the Internet, enterprise information technology, embedded devices,electronic products, and other fields. In our country the teaching of Java course make a newer,more high demands, vocational education should adapt to the economic and socialdevelopment of computer software in demand for high-quality workers and skilled talent,keep up to date educational concepts, explore teaching models and methods, to developcomprehensive quality good, socially competitive talents. In recent years, the internationaleducations widely promote blended learning a new concept, the effective application ofinformation technology in teaching, optimizing the teaching process. This article is to blendedlearning applies to Java course teaching of vocational education, through blended learningmodel courses designed to comply with software development, fundamentally changingteaching and learning behavior, improving the effect of teaching of Java.First, reading and sorting a large number of documents, analysis of the present status ofvocational education in Java courses, understanding the meaning of blended learning, analysisthe basic theory of blended learning, guiding Java practice of blended learning in coursesteaching theory. Second, Survey and analysis for Java course teaching of vocational education,discussion on the problems existing in the teaching through the questionnaire, Blendedlearning theories, teaching design of blended learning. Finally, based on the blended learningmodel, trying to combine traditional classroom instruction and online learning, blendedlearning applications in the Java programming course, through concrete case studies ofpractical teaching. Through two classes teaching comparative experiments, demonstrated theeffectiveness of teaching on blended learning.Practice shows that the blended learning can improve the effect of teaching of Java, andhope that the research for this article, for software development course provided could usereferences, improve skills talents cultivation quality, provide help on teaching reform of thecourse of vocational education.
