The Study Of Sharing And Packaging Of Network Courseware Based On Java

Modern distance education characterized by network education is an important study area of educational technology. Courseware is the essential tool for network education. In order to realize the sharing and reuse of learning resources,china is drawing up the network education technology standards with Chinese characteristics following with the research of international education technology standards.Currently,there are some differences in Courseware development of using the underlying technology and data formats. There are some problems between courseware systems,such as poor sharing,independent,self-isolation and no-universal.Learners in the choice of learning resources are often limited, learning resources can not fully shared.This paper focuses on courseware packaging with Java. Java is a cross platform language. Applications written in Java are portable across platforms, courseware can be shared in different platforms. Courseware is binded by XML as data format. XML with the advantages of cross-platform,cross-space and cross-device supports multiple application environments and suitable for network transmission. The sharing of courseware will be solved with the problems resolved in technology and data formats.
