The Cornparison Between Chinese And American Geography Course Standard In Junior Middle Schools

The international reform of geography course in middle schools have a great influence on China's. With the development of basic education reform in China, nowadays the "Course Standard" has become the main topic discussed by the experts in or out of the education areas. This article aims at drawing on some experience and enlightment of enforcing and improving the "Geography Course Standard" in China. It discusses the geography course standard between Chinese and American junior middle schools from educational attitude, course objectives, content standard and evaluation.
