The Development Of The Social Practice In Universities And The Research On Its Experience

Social practice is all the social, objective and material activity with which people initiatively remold and explore the real world, and it is the basic and vigor of people's cognitive activity. Social practice influences the forming and development of people's cognition. The rising of social practice in university and college accelerated the reforming and development of higher education in our country, affording new method to handle long-standing matter: how to combine education and producing activity. Jiang Zemin pointed out in the Speech for Commemorating the 80th Anniversary of the Found of Chinese Communist League that: " Only if we put our knowledge into practice, can knowledge be irradiated with enormous power. The young should be good at innovating, be adept in practicing, be willing to transfer our knowledge into remolding activity of objective and subjective world, and the young must gain the truth and improve ability by practicing." He emphasizes the importance of using knowledge in practice and learning of the young students. So, we must study the present conditions of social practice of university and college, sum up those experiences and expand new method in the new condition, because they are very important of carrying out our party's education policy, innovating education conception and educating talented people.This thesis centers on the important function social practice can bring on the young students, and analyze the acceleration of students development led by social practice by reviewing the -history of social practice in university and college after reforming and opening-up, then sums up the basic experience of organizing social practice in college and university, and at last ends with estimation of the trend of social practice in the new century under the guiding of the three representatives. The main idea of this thesis is: Social practice is imperative to university students, social practice is maturing step by step after the reforming and opening-up, the experience of university and college is that we must establish and perfect the education system with activity and we must stick to the communality between cultivation and social profits. In the new stage and new century, social practice in university and college will be socialized, specialized, varied and regulated by law.
