Self-support is the basis of health personality and the precondition to cultivate students' creativity. There are very few systematical researches on this topic home and abroad, nor molded theory or special measurement.Based on overviews of former researches and interviews with some students , teachers and parents, the theoretical hypothesis and the results of open-ended questionnaire with which 209 students were investigated, the preliminary questionnaire was formed with which 873 students were investigated. Factor analysis helped to form the formal Questionnaire of the Structure of the High-school Students' Self-support. After investigating 1090 students with the formal questionnaire, the reliability and the validity were turned out by special means , structural equation model and sociodemgraphy. The main results of this study are as follows:1.The research found that high-school students' self-support structure is constructed by four dimensions: "behavioral self-support "'mental self-support", "social self-support", "economic self-support tendency". "Behavioral self-support" is composed of four dimensions which are named as "self-care", "sanitary habit", "skill of coping with emergency", "life habit". "Mental self-support" is constructed by two first-level dimensions and six second-level dimensions. One first-level dimension is named as "learning to learn" which is composed by four second-level dimensions that are named respectively as "efficient learning", "creative learning", "objective management", "academic result appraisal". The other first-level dimension is named as "emotion autonomy" which is composed of four second-level dimensions that are named respectively as "emotion control", "emotion regulation". "Social self-support" is constructed by two first-level dimensions and four second-level dimensions. One first-level dimension is named as "responsibility" which is composed of two second-level dimensions that are named respectively as "social responsibility", "personal responsibility". The other first-level dimension is named as "interpersonal relationships"which is composed of two second-level dimensions that are named respectively as "gregariousness", "altruistic behavior". "Economic self-support tendency" is constructed by two first-level dimensions and four second-level dimensions. One first-level dimension is named as "consumptive consciousness" which is composed of two second-level dimensions that are named respectively as "money distribution", "money source". The other first-level dimension is named as "professional consciousness" which is composed of two second-level dimensions that are named respectively as "professional preparation", "development prediction".2.The Questionnaire of the Structure of the High-school Students' Self-support, which was based on the theoretical hypothesis which was formed according to a great deal of references, is of high reliability and fair validity. The questionnaire can be regarded as a kind of evaluative implement on high-school students' self-support.3.On the four dimensions of "behavioral self-support ","mental self-support", "social self-support" and "economic self-support tendency", students showed statistically significant gender difference, but not on the whole questionnaire self-support.4.Sociodemgraphy showed that self-support of high-school students began to descend at grade three on all dimensions.
