An Experimental Study On The Application Of Modern Educational Technology On The Teaching Of Zoology In Biology Major Of Normal College

Zoology is a professional and basic course of Biology Major of advance teaching education. Although it's contains cover many aspects, most of them concentrates on Morphology and Taxonomy. Up to now, traditional teaching method and mode are still the main method in teaching of Zoology. As a result, the teaching level cannot be enhanced and the teaching aims often cannot be realized indeed.In the present paper, the author analyzed the reason that the teaching level cannot be enhanced and the teaching aims cannot be realized when using traditional teaching method and mode were used. And then, we explored the new teaching method and mode using modern educational technology in Zoology. When do this, The theory of psychology was the base. The new method and mode included: 1) determining the aims of teaching content; 2) choosing teaching media based on teaching content, 3) determining proper method and situation according to need of teaching, and 4) collecting feedback information and evaluating them in time.The results of data analysis obtained from natural experiment and contract one indicate that it can enhance the teaching efficiency and quality cultivate and improve the ability of students, and also can improve studying attitude of students to large degree.
