For a long time, the biology teaching of junior high school in our country is mostly centered round knowledge, in the process of which, students' subjective initiative and exploring spirit can't be activated effectively, and the training of students' creative ability and quality is ignored. As a result, students lack exploring spirit and creative ability. The author uses active teaching theory to analyze students' spirit of independence, initiative, and positive in the process of Activity teaching in Biology of junior high school, pays attention to the use of experiment, documents and inspection, challenges the traditional teaching mode fixed on knowledge and depend on teachers. The research on active teaching in biology of junior high school plays an important role not only in theory but also in practice.The paper briefly introduces the history and development of the theory of activity teaching. The thesis mainly discusses the methods used to help students develop at all aspects in Activity teaching in Biology of junior high school. That is to say, we should fully respect students' spirit of initiative.
