Exploring and utilizing curriculum resources are the lightness' spot of the up-to-date curriculum reform of elementary education and the crux of carrying out the new curriculum standard. This article presents the research of the exploitation and utilization of curriculum resources of health and physical education by means of such research methods as documents, surveys and so on. The results show that the P.E teachers of middle schools in Fujian province pay little attention to exploiting and utilizing the curriculum resources of health and physical education and are lacking in initiative due to the execution of the national syllabus for a long time. Consequently, the exploitation and utilization of P.E human resources, P.E facilities, contents of curriculum, extracurricular resources, geographic resources as well as information of P.E is still at the early stage so far. But in recent years, with the reform of P.E curriculum, the teacher of middle schools, especially those who are from the experimental areas, are more aware of the exploitation and utilization of curriculum resources. For example, the P.E curriculums are carried out outside class and outside school. Community and nature resources have also been utilized. People begin to attach importance to utilizing the human resources of inside and outside school. In addition, some folk and newly sports items have been introduced into the class. It also illustrates nine factors such as education ideology, educational system and the knowledge and capacity of teachers, the consciousness of curriculum resource. Furthermore, the article puts forward some strategies of how to make use of the P.E curriculum resources.
