Teacher stress, which influences career performance and health of body and mind, is attached to study by psychologists. But former researches focus on teacher stressor, demology analysis of teacher stress and the relationship between stress and performance or health. Papers on the relationship between teacher stress and teacher job satisfaction are scarce. This paper aims at exploring the condition of stress and the relationship between stress and job satisfaction of teachers in primary, second and high school. The instruments, Teacher Stress Inventory and Teacher Job Satisfaction, are tested credibly and validly. In this study, 666 teachers of primary, second and high school are investigated. This research makes use of statistics methods, such as Factor Analyze, Correlation Analyze, GML, Regression Analysis and so on.The study is found that there are significant differences among different ages. Mid-age teachers have more stress than younger and older teachers. No significant gender difference is found. There are no significant differences between different grades. But in ordinary school, the stress score of primary school teachers is lower than that of second and high school teachers. On the contrary, the stress of high school teachers is the lowest hi key school. The stress of teacher in key school is stronger than that in ordinary school. As it is supposed, head-teachers' stress score is higher than that of ordinary teachers, and there are no significant differences between the teachers taking on different subjects. Leader-teachers who take on major subjects have more stress than those taking on minor subjects.Besides, teachers who have different teaching experiences have different stress level. Teachers who graduate from university and junior college have more stress than the teachers having the record of normal school. We can find that the stressscore drops with teacher degree. Furthermore, there is no significant difference between novices and veterans.Lastly, the result of Scatterpots and Correlation Analysis shows that teacher stress is negatively and significantly correlated with teacher job satisfaction. Namely, teachers who report greater stress are less satisfied with their job, which includes factors of their duty or goal, value or achievement, and the relation with their colleagues. Regression Analysis shows that teacher job satisfaction can be predicted negatively by teacher stress and degree, while grade can be a positive predictor of job satisfaction.
