A Study On Improving The Methods Of Ideological And Political Work On College Students Under The Condition Of Socialist Market Economy

Ideological and political work on college students was, is and will be the sustainably new topic facing the ideological and political workers in higher learning institutions. How to improve the methods of ideological and political work under the condition of socialist market economy is still the important and yet difficult issue facing the ideological and political workers in higher learning institutions under the real factors. The paper, titled "A Study on Improving the Methods of Ideological and Political Work on College Students under the Condition of Socialist Market Economy" and sticking to the combination of theory and practice, carries out researches and tempts to make any breakthrough in the study on improving the methods of ideological and political work on college students under the condition of socialist market economy. It falls into three parts.Part one deals with the importance. Its significance is expounded from four aspects, that is. the internal need of theory of ideological and political methods; the need to adjust to change from thinking pattern to behavior pattern concerning education targets; the need to inherit and develop the fine traditions of the methods of ideological and political work in higher learning institutions; the need to accomplish the new tasks of ideological and political work in higher learning institutions. The aim of this part is to make clear the value of enhancing the research of improving the methods of ideological and political work in higher learning institution under the condition of socialist market economy.Part two deals with the challenges. This part, on the basis of the combination of theory and practice, analyses the existing problems from seven angles such as the thinkingpattern of subjects of the work; the relationships between the subjects and objects; the information media and the objects' mentality of acceptance of education information.Part three comes to the countermeasures. This part is the main body of the paper. Based on the problems discussed in the second part, it carries out in-depth and careful researches. In light of the above-discussed problems and combining the practice, the writer put forwards seven countermeasures of changing the ideological and political work. They are the change from traditional patterns to modem thinking patterns, from experienced-oriented methods to science-oriented ones, from one-way crabbing to two-way communication and from vacuum propagating to medium propagating.
