With the popularity of the Internet, we-media goes deep into college students’ daily life, and has a huge impact on their ideological status part. The advantage impact include:firstly, broaden students’ view sight, and promote to mature; secondly, unabashed students’ individuality, and enhance self-consciousness; thirdly, concern about social, and cultivate their consciousness of citizenship. Here goes an old saying that every coin has two sides,so does the impact. The disadvantage impact include: firstly, complicated information may distort students’ cognition; secondly, disordered moral may minimize students’ responsibility; thirdly, over-dependence may weaken students’ self-discipline; fourth,subject of public opinion is diversification, which effects students’ attitude to ideological educator; fifth, the spread of snackable cyber culture weaken students’ ability in deep thinking. Along with the problems, network public opinion brings a new challenge to the ideological education workers as well. Because of the huge difference between we-media and traditional media, the way we carry out the ideological and political education is not suit today’s situation. So it requires scholars to research field again.The paper expounds what we-media is and how it impacts students’ ideological status part by using literature survey, investigation, contradiction analysis and qualitative and quantitative analysis method. And it convinces the necessity of taking a new way to start the work of ideological education in college. New ways include: firstly, occupy the network field, and expand educational work range; secondly, combine the advantages of we-media and traditional media,and enhance the attraction and pervasive of ideological education; thirdly, build an agenda setting system, and strengthen guide; fourth, fund a prevention, control and guide system which deals with network public opinion by using network technique; fifth, improve college students’ self-quality in we-media time; sixth,improve ideological educators’ self-quality in media time. All above help us to build a completed and scientific system in we-media time which deal with how to do work on college students’ ideological and political education.
