| As we all known, the mainstream of students' thought is positive under the current campus environment. But there are some confusions still exist, and the passive situation in moral education is not turned back at all. In order to break away from this predicament, we must make a development in the moral theory and carry on innovations on the methodology in moral education. On the basis of the practice and researches of Wuhan University of Science and Technology, this thesisputs forward the theory of "Engineering Moral Education(EME)"-a"theories of middle range" of methodology in moral education-whichmerges the achievements of Philosophy-study, Science-study and Engineering-study. EME is the inheritance and innovation of methodology in moral education.In the innovation of epistemology, EME takes "psychological phenomenon" as the dual targets of the practice of moral education and the research of moral education. As a kind of spiritual resource, even though the psychological phenomenon is complicated, it still can be recognized and exploited. The exploitation of spiritual resources needs correct and rational methodology as the guidance. EME upholds the view of hierarchical structure of methodology, and orientates itself as "theories of middle range", reflects the characteristic of "intermediary's thinking" on epistemology, and finishes the transition and link between the methodology and the practice of moral education.In the innovation of methodology of implementing, EME introduces the engineering into the study of methodology in moral education, which reflects the "synthesis, creation, practice" essence of engineering in the moral education. On the basis of the "three-characteristic" pattern of moral education (standardization, permeability, consultation), EME has finished the sublimation from it to "net-theory" in epistemology and methodology. The core of "net-theory" is "whole thinking, systematic controlling", which constructs the theoretical foundation of EME. In EME,an eternal theme in the content, certain routine ways on the carries, and "three-characteristic" of the method, weave the network of moral education system. Under the network of system, EME accelerates the spiritual development, spurs the self-adapting, self-organizing, self-regulating of psychology system, promotes the exploitation of latent potential and the overall development of people. The main characteristics of this thesis are:1 It proposes the conception of EME, which is a "theories of middle range" of methodology in moral education and has the characteristics of engineering education.2 It puts forward the "psychological phenomenon" are resources, which can be recognized and exploited by the methods of engineering.3 Analyzing the exploitation of spiritual resources, it figures that the self-organizing needs the help of the methods of engineering to conduct the conflict of spiritual needs and value views of the students. |
