University students are very precious resources of human talents. They are the hope of our nation, the future of our country and the constructors and successors of the cause of socialism with Chinese characteristics. The national education reform and development of long-term planning programs (2010-2020) explicitly points out,"Insisting on the principle and carrying out education for all-around development are the strategic theme of the education reform and development. We should put moral education first and strengthen morality education." This fully demonstrates that the Party Central Committee pays great attention to the moral education of university students.Viewing its development course, we find that the moral education of university students has made great progress. At present, the mainstream of the thought of our country’s university students is positive, healthy and upward. However, in recent years, situation both at home and abroad develops and changes very fast, new things and problems emerge constantly and the actual effects of the moral education of university students have been challenged. Therefore, how to strengthen the actual effects of moral education, improve university students’inner quality and upgrade social civilization under new conditions has become an important issue that demands our instant research and quest.This paper focuses on researching the methodology of strengthening the actual effects of university students’moral education. First, this paper gives definitions to actual effects of moral education and its methodology. Second, it analyzes the current situation of moral education from the perspectives of its achievements and existing problems, and puts forward the inevitability and possibility of strengthening the actual effects of moral education. Then it investigates the factors that affect moral education’s actual effects, finds the immanent causes from the aspects of moral education concept, purposes, contents, team, methods and evaluation model, and analyzes the extrinsic factors that may affect the actual effects of moral education from the aspects of family, school and society. Finally, taking Marxist philosophy as the basic methodology, this paper elaborates on the methodology of how to strengthen the actual effects of university students’moral education:first, insist people-oriented principle, emphasize practice and the whole. Second, constantly optimize family environment, school environment and social environment. Third, innovate operating procedure, establish a whole and all-around working thought, grasp its crucial points, constantly carry out research and study and promote the development of moral education during innovation with the purpose of furthering the research and study on university students’moral education and providing useful references.
