Modern instructional design theory pays much attention to the students' cognitive process, but not the same to the system of the learning motivation. The result of the shortage of the theory is that the teacher can not notice the students' motivation, specially the intrinsic motivation really. Such instruction makes the students come to lose the learning interest. We try to find out the pattern of instructional design to internalize the learning motivation by connecting the theory of motivational design model, the character of the pupil's motivation and the regularity of the classroom teaching of the Chinese. The thesis is divided into five parts: Part one: ForewordThe primary school hood is a very important period. It emphasizes the internalization of the learning motivation, which profits to construct a better motivational system. However, pupils' motivation develops not complying with the law. That is, the motivation will be internalized with the age increasing. That shows our teaching method in some way constraints the development of the internalization of the learning motivation, and that makes our research more important. Part two: The summary of the motivational design theoryMotivational design model consists of four elements: attention, relevance, confidence and satisfaction. It presents a series of tactics to arouse, maintain and internalize learning motivation. These four elements infiltrate the whole process of the classroom teaching. It is valuable to use in practice. Part three: The analysis of present situation of pupil's learningmotivationWe made a survey and analyze of the learning motivational situation among 218 pupils in Changsha. The result shows that the motivation of the pupils is higher than normal level, the motivation of grade four is higher than grade five remarkably, girls' motivation is partially higher than boys' remarkably. And, personality, intelligence quotient and learning tactics have some correlation with motivation. Part four: Experimental research on applying the motivational design model on the classroom teaching of ChineseTo discuss the effect of the motivational design model, we establish the instructional design, based on Keller's theory, whose center is motivational design, and use it in the Chinese classroom teaching. The Experiment uses the one element complete randomalized design model to explore the effect of two different levels of motivational design. The conclusion is that: 1. Two different motivational designs both arouse the learning motivation; 2. Compare with the partial (external) motivational design, the complete (internal) motivational design can internalize the learning motivation better; 3. The internalization of learning motivation reduces the external learning tactics; 4. The internalization of learning motivation can't arouse the Chinese scores remarkably. Part five: The discussion and the analysisFurther discuss and analyze the effect of the experiment, give some introspection and summary of the experiment.
