This thesis combines the trend of present education' s democratization, diversification and modernization, especially eager needs to creative thought and mankind in the economic development of society and combines many problems of the city process, setting up thought that mankind can keep on developing. By the comparison of every kind of teaching mode, from nowadays society need of self-educated ability and frontier spirit the thesis joins self-study mode and creative education together with certain reform, from self-study creative teaching mode on geography city. The mode is realistic and shows clearly relation between human activity and geography environment, that is the importance of balancing building development and environment, shows the combination between the thought that building can keep on developing and that person' s education can keep on developing.Following the order of construction analysis, theory model and experiment research, the thesis ,divided into five special subjects, has a further discussion on self-study and creative teaching mode about senior school city geography.the first part is about city geography's knowledge construction and teaching target of new material in senior school. First, it introduces the knowledge construction of unit 6 mankind living place and geography environment in Volume 2 (required) and of unit 2 in Volume 1 (optional).Second, it puts forward teaching target of city geography suitable for the development of future society and individual, guided by educate theories. Finally, contacting the present education reality, it brings up many problems that exist in city geography teaching.The second part is about construction model in city geography self-study, and puts great emphasis on relationship between self-study and city -geography teaching from four aspects. With the analysis of self-study theory model in foreign countries, it pointsout that city geography self-study has different stages and is placed in the interaction of outside environment . To establish city geography self-study target should make a point of the stirring of the inside motive, and application of strategy perception, in addition make full use of outside environment condition. The specific self-study process includes four kinds of levels, three kinds of paths and four basic regulation. Guided by latest development area theory, it brings up the basic teaching procedure in city geography self-study.The third part also belongs to construction model, which studies the relations of creative educate theory and city geography teaching from four aspects. First analyze the significance of city geography creative teaching from three pyramid model and creativity construction mode .Second analyze in a specific way research-study mode, investigate-find mode perception emotion mode and strong strategy combined with knowledge strategy, which are main creating teaching modes and in the foundation of this, it puts forward the regulation in city geography creating teaching. Finally, create the concrete leading procedure in city geography creating teaching from dissipation construction theory, theory of thinking and study.On the basis of mold analysis, the fourth part combines self-study and creative study, brings up the concrete process of creative self-study about city geography, and analyzes detailed steps and strategy in teaching procedures.Aimed at the above the theory teaching mode, the fifth part makes an experiment examination aimed at mode's time efficiency, under the result of which, it analyzes the using of teaching modeand raises the conditions suitable for the mode.The thesis makes breakthrough in some aspects as fours: First, combine self-study and creative study together, make these double ability clear and increase in the concrete teaching. Secondly, unify city geography teaching, self-study mode and creative study mode as one, guide the students to pay attention to city environment problems in a way of self-study and creative study.
