Exploration Of Management System In Modern Secondary Schools

After China became a member of WTO, Chinese education faced new challenges. Facing the demanding of high-quality human resource, China needs quality-orientation education instead of high-score education. Then Chinese educational aim and human resource training methods are changing. School is an independent educational institution, so educational reform will be effected at schools. For realizing educational reform in new century, the author thinks that research on management system in modern schools is an important research project.Through literature research and case study on secondary schools, the author found some features of management system in Chinese current secondary schools. First, a unified management system binds secondary schools' development. Second, administrative levels in secondary schools are over abounded. Third, government is the main resource of educational investment. Fourth, management in secondary schools lacks competition system. Fifth, secondary schools lack self-supervision system. Based on these, author believes it is necessary to explore management system in modern secondary schools.This thesis is divided into four parts. The guide part presents relevant definitions and analysis current research in this field. The second part includes two chapters. The first chapter focuses on analyzing features of school management system in China and abroad. The second chapter includes three aspects, including tendencies of modern society development, values of modern secondary education, and functions of modern secondary school management. The third part explains management, management system, management system in modern secondary schools and management ideas in detail. In the last part, the author explores management system in modern secondary schools in three aspects, especially in multiple management systems, interior management institutions, and scientific management mechanisms.
