The special characteristics of the school are the heart of the matter of Education Practice home and abroad and Education Theory Research. To be in pursuit of school feature has become the educational trends of the time, which is not only the objective requirement of the development of both society and economy; but also the needs of the school development itself. The thesis offers a brief look into this subject.How to give a definition of the special characteristics of the school? What does the author intend? The author expounds his views from the school perspective, in which he relates its four basic factors, that is, its peculiarity, high quality, its essence and its stability. He also analyzes the reasons for establishing these school features on a theoretical level. The intension, characteristics and types of which are demonstrated in it as well.How on earth to establish the distinguishing feature of the school? By consulting different kinds of materials and with the help of many years' experiences of school management, the author comments on its general factors of the establishment of the distinguishing feature of school, that is: a principal with high quality and good personality is the crux; a group of educated and qualified teachers is the foundation; unique teaching is the core; teaching research is the guarantee and a comfortable environment is the assistant. The approach to establish the special characteristics of the school in this thesis is of great practicality and utility.In the last paragraph, the author shows several schools where he was able to implement successfully the special characteristics of the school so as to arouse the interests of other research fellows and attract more attention to this field.
