This paper tends to offer the proper advice and countermeasures concerning the continuing education of teachers of secondary vocational school, analyzing the present situation of it in Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region by the guide of the theories of administration, sociology and so on.On the macro level, we must make the teacher profession more attractive and meet the material and spiritual needs of the teachers so that they can obtain motives to improve themselves, we must guarantee the continuing education of the teachers in the support of manpower, finance. Material and information. Also necessary rules and regulations concerning continuing education must be amplified to adjust the various aspects of it.On the micro level, the teaching staff in Xinjiang must be taken into consideration when we set out objectives, choose the target groups, select the proper and valuable learning contents, and train the teachers in the most effective ways, and by the guide of purpose of continuing education, the teachers can gain the valuable knowledge and ability as soon as possible, and improve their ability as vocational teacher and vocational quality. Therefore, this paper offer four countermeasures and advice, leaders stress and make the effective measures, vocational teachers training agency and school make the training plan together, setting up learning ideas of long-life, perfecting the development of teachers themselves, mainly fostering teachers of theory teachers and practice teachers.
