In today’s world is a rapidly developing society, knowledge is updated daily in thedevelopment and change, whether students or adult must continue education, not only thebackward. Primary and secondary school physical education teachers continuingeducation is an important part of lifelong education, is to improve the quality of PEteachers in primary and middle schools in our country, is the inevitable trend of thedevelopment of the occupation sports teachers of primary and middle schools in china.The quality of teachers directly affect the success or failure of implementing qualityeducation in our country, to build a high-quality, high level of teachers is the basiccondition for the promotion of quality education in China, continuing education must attachgreat importance to.This article through to the sports teachers in primary and middle schools (in theCapital Institute of Physical Education to participate in the2013national traditional sportsschool sports training and the education ministry "national training plan (2013)" physicaleducation teachers in our primary and secondary school physical education teachertraining) conducted a questionnaire survey,762questionnaires were distributed to ask.And the integrated use of literature method, interview method, mathematical statisticsmethod, comprehensive investigation and Analysis on the basic situation, teachers’Continuing Education of PE teachers in our training, find out the problems and put forwardcorresponding suggestions and countermeasures.Current situation of Physical Education Teachers Continuing Education in primaryand middle schools in China is mainly manifested in the:(1) China’s primary and secondary school physical education teachers in reasonableproportion in age structure, academic structure, age structure in have already reached thenational requirements and standards, most teachers have received professionaleducation, but there is still a very small part of the students have not received professionalphysical education.(2) found in a survey on the economic situation of physical education teachers, mostteachers have a certain economic pressure, treatment is relatively low, no certaineconomic ability at their own expense goes out to participate in continuing education.(3) the students lack of awareness of the continuing education, the thought of not payingenough attention, they not only related to the deviation degree of understanding toeducation at all levels in the policy, and without the need to participate in continuingeducation and training attitude also have different views.(4) some schools do not have perfect continuing education management system, the lackof an effective incentive rewards, and did not do well in PE teachers recommend selectionwork, many students participate in training with a certain utility color, only in order tocomplete the assigned task, make a lot of continuing education and training resources waste.(5) training institutions do not investigation and communication with frontline teachers, donot understand the actual needs of students. In the selection of training approaches, forstudents to further their study, the remote network education, regular teaching activities tochoose the highest frequency, and for self-study, teaching research, teaching competition,research, most of the students show no interest. Found in the choice of courses instatistics, the students have great demand for game creation, and first aid, physicaltrauma of sports scientific research methods have not much interest.(6) educational institutions, education and training institutions lack of continuing educationof teacher qualification system strictly physical education teachers, regulation is not inplace.In view of the advantages and disadvantages of the current continuing education forPE teachers in primary and middle schools of our country, put forward the followingsuggestions:(1) schools and educational institutions, regional teacher training institutions, shouldstrengthen the concept of continuing education, to create a good education environment,formed United knowledge.(2) to improve the physical education teachers in primary and middle schools of Chinatreatment, national and local governments, schools should hold some continuingeducation and training opportunities.(3) to strengthen sports teachers recommend selection of continuing education andtraining, in order to reduce the waste of resources.(4) each school should establish aneffective evaluation system of continuing education, to let teachers accept continuingeducation and the annual Pingyou award, competition for posts, job promotion such ashook, so as to mobilize the enthusiasm of physical education teachers to participate incontinuing education.(5) the school can participate in continuing education and training work into the workloadof teachers. This includes teachers to participate in continuing education, and gives theassurance of time.(6) education and training institutions to do analysis and Research on the students’training needs survey.(7) part of the elective courses education and training institutions, to meet the differentneeds of students on the course.(8) to strengthen the continuing education of remote network service.(9) establish and perfect laws and regulations related to engineering education.
