The concept of chemistry is a kind of thought from that reflects the inherent attribute of matter in the chemical movement. It can deeply reflect the most essential characteristics in the chemical process and it's the result of people's thoughts. The most important part of the course, the "skeleton" of chemistry is also the basis for students to go on with their chemical thoughts (i. e. , analysis, comparison, induction, dedution) It's also the foundation of studying chemistry theory and other knowledge . It's the key in developing the students' intelligence, training scientific attitude and method and performing the character education. According to the theory and research of the concept of chemistry , we think the teaching of it should obey its special psychological mechanism. The process of studying it contains 5 basic stages : perception , machining, primary formation, contacting and confirming, usage . There are 3 important stages of teaching chemistry.According to the modern education theory , we should adopt the following tactics in teaching the concept of chemistry: 1.Use the vivid visual image to let the students gain the knowledge of the concept; 2.Create the atmosphere and let the students take part in the formation of the concept of chemistry; 3.Revise the old knowledge while learning the new one to realize the assimilation of concept;4.Proceed step by step, lead the students deepen and develop the concept; 5.Give prominence to the understanding of the key words of the concept, get deeper understanding;6.Pay attention to the relation between the concepts; 7.Optimize the study strategy and enhance the cognition standard, i.e. in the teaching of the concept of chemistry, we must pay great attention to the usage of various kinds of teaching method, includingvisual experiment, visual language and CAI courseware , in order to help the students to understand the concept; use the question to stimulate students' thoughts, give free rein to students' corpus, and let the students take part in the teaching process actively; guide the students to remember new concepts and the help of their old knowledge ; pay attention to the levels of the concept, deepen and develop the concept continuously, use various ways to strengthen the meaning of the key words, help the students to master the concepts connotation, and give a clear extension , guide the students to found the concept system. Meanwhile , we also need to pay attention to the teaching of studying method and the formation of study strategy, to improve original cognition.According to the teaching strategy of the concept, the basic programs may be concluded as: Setting up the problem situation- introducing into the concept; Building up the problem solving-forming concept; Inducting to make up knowledge structure-systematization of the concept; Tutoring practice and application-reification of the concept. Such a link-by-link program deepens the teaching and studying step by step, perfects the students' cognition strcture continuously, and improves the study ability, sensibility and strategy simultaneously, which, in word and deed, will achieve quality-oriented education aims in the spirit of bringing forth new ideas and practice capability.
