It is significant to cultivate and improve the scientific accomplishment of students during the basic education,which is vital for cultivating innovative talents to meet the needs of the community. Only if the students become the constructers of knowledge,we can make this plan come true.Influenced by the pressure of entering higher grade school,many chemistry teachers and students still used traditional method to teaching and learning.In that way,students hardly participated in the knowledge construction,and the holding of knowledge still stayed at primary level.The instructional design presented by the use of the plan of the concept will effectively assist the learners to express the intrinsic significance of visualization of the contact structure of knowledge into their cognitive structure and improve capacity of the formation of the knowledge network,which is much beyond the traditional one.However,this kind of instructional design is less studied in our country,especially in the field of chemistry.Therefore,this paper tends to discuss the idea that the ability of knowledge network of students will be improved with the help of the concept map in chemistry in senior high school.Based on the instruction strategies of improving the ability of the knowledge network with the help of the concept map,the research includes the following five parts.Partâ… :Presentation of the issueStarting by describing the background information and the significance of the issue,we give the general description of this study.In the fields of the philosophy of epistemology,educational psychology,the main way to construct the students' knowledge and its mechanism are analyzed.The idea that the concept map is the effective tool to construct knowledge is clearly discussed.According to Banathy's theory of the education system and Bloom's educational taxonomy of this study,we consider the theory and practice of exploration related to this reaserch.We also define the terms related concepts and their meanings.Partâ…¡:The literature review of the theory of the research We collected and analyzed and introduce the material related with the concept map and the knowledge network,and clearly revealed the essence of the construction of meaning,and summed up the approach and form of the construction of the concept map.Induced several orientation of the concept map,we point out the trends of the study of concept map.The we give the main problems and the content of the study.Partâ…¢:The issues of the teaching strategies of the concept mapTo make the variation analysis with the traditional instruction of chemistry.With the construction of the knowledge network as model,with concept map as tool,with students' chemical pre-conception as teaching start point,with students' the ability of the knowledge network as destination,we apply to the teching idea of New Curriculum under the situation in China,and try to present a new kind of teaching strategies,namely an strategies of applying concept map to promote formation of knowledge networks.We also give the description on the issue from the perspectives of the theoretical foundation,instructional objective,instructional process and instructional evaluation and implement condition.Partâ…£:The empirical research of idea that applying the concept map will cultivate the students' abilities of knowledge network forming.Combining with the new high school chemistry curriculum,taking on the "organic chemistry" as the teaching material,we apply the concept map to promote the abilities of teaching strategies of knowledge network forming.We also design and carry out the relevant teaching cases.We do the research on the use of the concept map whether it will help the students cultivate knowledge of the chemical forming ability become more effective than the traditional teaching strategies or not in chemical study.We explore to find the differences among the students of different levels.We also analyze the results from the effects of the teaching and the attitudes of the students..Partâ…¤:Conclusion and suggestions.
