The informationization is a leading trend in the development of economy and society nowadays. Information technology(abbreviated as IT ) taking computer and network technology as the core, has not merely brought extensive and deep influence to our social life, but also changed modern education .The IT has already become a motive force of Europe and U.S.A education. In the face of such rapid changing mathematics living environment, "the curriculum reform Outline of the basic education ( tried)" in our country has put forward clear request for teaching to enhance the general application of the IT to teaching energetically, promote the integrating of the IT into subjects .The new"Curriculum Standard of Mathematics" has pointed out the direction of the reform in mathematics education: We should consider it as students'powerful tool to solve the mathematics problems, try to change students' learning manners and make students happier and have more energy to be involved in realistic, exploratory mathematics learning activities。It is a brand-new subject to integrate IT into Mathematics Teaching in our country, So First this paper is devoted to the concept of integrating IT into Mathematics Teaching : Under the guidance of advanced teaching theory, I think it is not only a cognitive tool and emotional motive tool of facilitating students' independent study, but also tools of enriching teaching environment. To apply these tools to mathematics teaching organically will enable them to become students' cognitive tools probing into and solving the mathematics problems independently and to train students' ability so that the efficiency of mathematics learning and teaching can be improved .The key of integrating IT into mathematics teaching is to achieve the teachingaims better and more effectively, and to train students' innovative ability and practical ability .Second, the impact of IT on mathematics teaching is explored;Third, the theoretical foundation and basic mode of integrating IT into mathematics teaching is presented;Fourth, example of lessons and software design on integrating IT into mathematics teaching are given; Fifth , the investigation result of current situation of integrating IT into mathematics teaching practice is exposed;Finally, Some problems are mentioned while integrating IT into mathematics teaching The core of this research is the application and the teaching design,the example attempted in Normal School and Primary Schools not only expound the research theoretically,but also have made relevant software practically. The working unit which I belong to Liuzhou normal school organizes personnels to develop mathematics courseware and web mathematics courses. These promote the integrating of IT and mathematics application study to a new stage. Even so ,IT and mathematics teaching integration is still at its primary stage in our country, There's still a long way to go.
