| New course, new ideas and series of course reform of elementary of education have been popularized and employed gradually. research-based study is one of the meaningful attempts in course reform. Meanwhile, Chinese Curriculum Standard clearly points out: positively advocating autonomic, cooperative and inquiring style of study. As such, research-based study sets feel on the path of course reform of Chinese education.While, how can the research-based study, which aims at cultivating probing, creative spirit and practical ability, get into and become a part of Chinese education? And how can it combine organically with Chinese study and been made good use of? These are the problems which are concerned by the educational theoretician and patricians. This paper attempts to carry out certain beneficial discussion in order to provide relatively comprehensive explanation and presentation to the research-based study.This paper starts from the review of social background. Intellectual economy brings opportunity and challenge. Chinese education acts as a connector between tradition and reform, and a cornerstone of elementary education. There are various drawbacks in present Chinese education. ALL these factors indicate that the Chinese education should be reformed and renewed. It is the urgent task for Chinese education reform to quest the new methods of teaching and learning. Research-based study of Chinese is one of the new exploration and turning point.However, it can be noticed that there are obscurity and ambiguity in both theoretical explanation and practical employment. Therefore, it is necessary to think over some theoretical questions and define the basic concept of research-based study of Chinese. This paper suggests that, under the circumstances of Chinese education, the research-based study should lay particular emphasis on: on the one hand, it is a kind of learning style, which means, during the process of Chinese learning, studentchose and determine the research subject from natural or social phenomena or their own everyday life based on their interest and teachers' direction, and actively acquire knowledge, utilize knowledge and solve problems: on the other hand, it is a educational idea, which emphasizes that teachers, guided by the theoretical idea of research-based study, use the rich source material of Chinese, lead students to develop the research-based study, and uphold this method through the whole process of Chinese learning. Besides, this paper describes and explains the characteristics and target of this style.What will be changed by research-based study is the style of teaching and learning. Consequently, this paper from the point of development, analyzes the promotive effect of the subjective of both teachers and students.After all, research-based study is in a starting stage and possesses several disadvantages. Then, how can it be developed and put into effect? Considering the reality of Chinese course, this paper discusses the problem from three perspectives: 1.Based on "teaching material", develop the research-based study and exploit the research value of teaching maierial.2.Based on "class", create and invent inquiry situation and make the class permeated with the educational idea of research-based study.3.Based on "subject", by choosing subject, working at subject and developing subject, lead students into a varied and prolific inquiring world.Also, this paper discusses the evaluation to the research-based study of Chinese. Teachers should change their traditional assessment style, focus on the cultivation of students' inquiring spirit, creative consciousness, and quality accomplishments.In short, although in its stage and possessing drawbacks, research-based study, as an effective method of teaching and learning, should be supported and be employed through the process of Chinese learning. By this way, Chinese education can be improved greatly. |
