Research-based learning is a required course for every student,with 15 credits in high school for three years.Since then,research-based learning has become an independent course and it is compulsory for every high school student to complete it.Besides,it is required in the recently-issued book A Planning Outline for a Strong Cultural Province that in Guangdong,the cultivation to improve the whole social and cultural accomplishment,to improve the image of the Guangdong culture and to cultivate humanistic spirit are necessary.Therefore,the inheritance of local culture is particularly important.This essay is dedicated to explore Chinese learning strategies and methods by making full use of regional cultural resources from the perspective of unique value of local cultural resources in Jiangmen.It is hoped that students will pay more attention to research-based learning,enjoy learning Chinese and thus,ensuring the culture heritage of Jiangmen.The thesis will analyze the status quo of research-based learning in Xinhui,Jiangmen,pointing out the existing problems and possibilities of combining the local resources with the research-based learning curriculum,and then put forward strategies to carry out the integration of inquiry learning course and Chinese course.Finally,developing local culture resources will be demonstrated and the feasibility of Chinese research study will be promoted.The principle of local resources development is “language construction and using,thinking development and promotion,aesthetic appreciation and creation,cultural heritage and understanding” put forward in high school students' key competence in Chinese learning.The principle guides the student to explore the value of local culture so as to achieve inhabitation of Chinese culture,understand the hometown,inspire students' patriotic emotion and cultivate their characters.In addition,students' comprehensive application of the knowledge insocial practice and research demonstration and the ability to study and solve problems will be enhanced,which will help to cultivate the quality of actively exploring new knowledge;In the process of cooperation and communication,the purpose of forming a good character of cooperation and sharing is formed.Therefore,in the end,the research resources of “celebrities,folk customs,scenic spots and folk songs” are sorted out,and the research topics from the students are applied as the case reference.Conclusion: Based on the richness in local cultural resources,the current research is aimed to engage students in the local resources research and develop all kinds of resources by adjusting measures to local conditions,thus students will be immerged into the development of local historical culture,and their social responsibility,hometown pride and the ability of social practice will be strengthened.
