An important characteristic existing in present technical secondary education and teaching is the diversification of students' composition, the uneven study basis of students, the great difference of the whole students' quality and the difficulty to teach them. How to improve the general teaching results, to make the students develop in an all-round way so that they can become the qualified technical workers in the basic-level jobs has become the key problem needed to resolve in present technical secondary school.This article is based on the common technical secondary schools among Gansu professional secondary schools (except the special schools such as teachers' schools, art schools and athletics), fixes attention on the mathematics teaching of the technical secondary schools, aims at the present condition of decline in students' source in recent years and the mathematic teaching activities, do some research and experiments on the teaching according to different levels of students. For this, classroom observation method, questionnaire method and interview method are used to learn and analyses the mathematics study and present teaching conditions in Gansu technical secondary schools. The results show that the problem caused by the decline in students source are outstanding in the course of mathematics study in the technical secondary schools. The cultural, heritage method is adopted to collect and consult relative cultural heritage, make theoretical research on the present conditions and theoretical basis of teaching according to different levels of students and on the basis of that, make a lot of experiments, study the problem of how to carry out the teaching according to different levels of students, analyses it by means of classroom observation method, comparison method. Through the research and experiments, study the effective ways of teaching according to different levels of students, which suit the mathematical teaching of the technical secondary schools, hoping that it can provide Gansu technical secondary schools teaching reform with some help and inspiration.
