The ultimate purpose of education is to lick into shape all-round developed human being. However, due to the distinctive characteristic of vocational education, while teachers in technical secondary schools take the object of cognition seriously, they do not take adequate measure to imbue the students with enough sensibility; therefore, it is a phenomenon that cognition is generally paid much more attention than sensibility during the process of Chinese language and literature teaching. Chinese language and literature teaching is a unique art which impresses sensibility through language so that the students can gain knowledge, thus develop their abilities. Language itself is a tool to express emotion and meanings; this determines the importance of sensibility in Chinese language and literature teaching. With the reform of Chinese language and literature teaching in technical secondary schools, the aim and the content are extended. Chinese teaching aims not only to "enlarge knowledge and enlighten intelligence", but also to "mold temperament, purify mind, improve morality and to instruct behavior". During the process of teaching, a teacher should pay enough attention to cognition, meanwhile make the positive ingredients of sensibility work, so as to improve positive elements in the students' emotion, soul, thought and morality. This is important to arouse the students' curiosity for knowledge, to forward their interest to learn and to develop their intelligence; furthermore, it is also significant to adjust the teaching aim, to improve the effect of teaching as well as to develop the students" all-round abilities. On the fact of all these, only when the target of cognition and that of sensibility inspiration are adequately established, integrated, and fulfilled, and when the target of cognition and the inspiration of sensibility are taken as the most important task of Chinese language and literature teaching, will the teaching observes the rules and be a "Complete Chinese Language and Literature Education", which is favorable for the students to have all-round development.
