Research On The Behavior Of Major Selection Of Collegial Matriculation

The major selection is critical to life. Inappropriate seletion might affect individual employment and job orientation, Based on result of my "Questionnaire of major selection of collegial matriculation", "Questionnaire of major selection of college student" and "The interest scale of matriculation examination center " from Taiwan, this article makes a systematic study on the major selection of collegial matriculation. The result shows that major selection is influenced from individual, family, college and society, and that the aim of the candidates is not clear, that interest is the principal factor affecting major selection, that major selection has a strong occupational tendency, and that boys and girls differ in major selection. Therefore,in this paper,some valuable suggestions are further offered on the major selection of collegial matriculation.
