| The major selection has a direct impact on the study and development of senior high school students after entering the university,thus affecting the job orientation and professional career in the future.Its significance is self-evident.However,most of the senior high school students are very confused when choosing majors,and it is difficult to achieve reasonable results.The education of major selection for students in senior high school is beneficial to help students know themselves,cultivate their interests and talents,form a specific learning plan,and prepare for the major selection in the future,thus improving the reasonability of major selection.In order to discuss the educational strategies for high school students to choose majors,this paper,through a questionnaire survey,analyzed and summed up the present situation.The first existing problem is that the consciousness of actively knowing about the relevant knowledge of major choice is not strong;the second is the relevance of learning contents of high school and university is not too clear;the third is lack of clarity about the knowledge and skills needed for future careers;the fourth is lack of methods and skills in major selection.Through in-depth digging,it was found that the main reasons for these existing problems are:students,parents and schools do not pay enough attention to the education of major selection,and schools do not have clear and long-term goals for the cultivation of students,and there is a lack of the education content and teachers of major selection,and there is one-sided guidance on the application form,etc..The paper presented a strategy of applying modern educational technology into the major selection education based on the teaching methods and contents that high school students like and hope to know,which were collected in the questionnaire.First of all,apply modern education technology to design and develop education contents,mainly including:the method for students to understand their interests,abilities and characters,the employment situation and industry development of all majors,admission scores,rankings and advantages of all majors,the specific content of each major,experience sharing of professionals and college students,the methods and techniques to choose majors,etc..Then,flexible application of modern educational technology to organize teaching,and according to the characteristics of high school students at different stages of development,conduct classified guidance.In addition,this paper also put forward several teaching approaches,such as on-site lecturing,class meetings and consultation meetings,long-distance teaching based on teaching video transmission,and personalized guidance based on cross-platform communication tools.The author took the on-site teaching method as an example to specifically implement one of the proposed education strategies on major selection,and analyzed the implementation effect through classroom observation,post-class survey and later visits.The outcome of implementation shows that the strategy of applied modern educating technologies to major selection is feasible and can achieve reasonable results,which can help high school students to solve the problems of major selection without rashness,uncertainty and other issues,and to achieve a scientific and reasonable major selection. |
