Major recognition is the basis for the students to positively throw themselves into professional learning and to engage in the major related industries.It concerned about the students' self-value realization in the learning period,improvement of the teaching quality and cultivation of the national talents.Related researches show that in the current higher education in our country,the students have a low recognition degree on the major selected on the whole,and there exists many problems in the professional learning.To face the contradiction,the research conducts analysis starting from the source of higher education,that is to say the major selection in college entrance examination.It discusses the influence of the different major selection on the major recognition of the college undergraduates and tries to find out the problems and effective suggestions on improving the major recognition degree of the students.The research,combined with the domestic and overseas research achievements,designs the questionnaire Influence of the Major Selection on the Major Recognition of the College Undergraduates,releases it on the internet based on the questionnaire star platform and obtains 324 pieces of effective sample data.Conducting data analysis and researching on the effective questionnaire data based on the data statistics and analysis software SPSS22.0.The analysis results demonstrate:(1)It find that the main influencing factors on the major selection of the college undergraduates including personal factor,employment factor,higher education factor,school factor,relatives and friends factors.The top-priority factor in major selection for the college undergraduates is the personal factor.Besides,they think employment factor is more relatively than the relatives and friends factors.Higher education factor also has less relative.(2)The college undergraduates are general in the autonomous degree of major and the major recognition degree.(3)The major recognition degree of the college undergraduates is divided into four dimensions such as major recognition degree,major matching degree,major involvement degree and major emotion degree.(4)The personal factor,employment factor and school factor for the major selection of the college undergraduates have a positive influence on their major recognition degree.While the personal factor influences the major recognition degree most.The autonomous degree of major for the college undergraduates has a positiveinfluence on their major recognition degree.The good major cognition in major selection of the college undergraduates has a positive influence on the major recognition degree.(5)The overall major recognition degree of the college undergraduates is general.And in the various dimensions of the major recognition,the major involvement degree of the undergraduates is highest factor in the major recognition degree and the major recognition degree is second one,the major emotion is third one and the major matching is lowest one.(6)The major recognition degree and the various dimensions of the college under-graduates are obviously different in the control variables such as gender,major category,different origins of students and family economic conditions.The paper consists of five parts.Part I is an introduction,mainly introduces the research background,purpose,significance and methods.Meanwhile it designs the research process and the thesis framework.Part II is literature review,based on sorting the domestic and overseas research results,explains the current research situation of the current major selection and major recognition degree in the college entrance examination.it also provides theoretical basis for the influencing of the major selection on the major recognition degree of the college undergraduates.Part III is about research design,which mainly determines the related research problems based on the research contents.This part puts forward the research assumptions,designs the research tools,explains the situations of surveyors selection and questionnaire distribution and collection.Part IV is data analysis,which mainly conducts analysis on the situation of the different major selection of the college undergraduates and the current situation of the major recognition degree.Conducting analysis on the differences of different major selection of the college undergraduates,the major recognition degree and various dimensions on the different control variables,researches the influence of different major selection of the college undergraduates on their major recognition degree.Finally,based on the above data analysis,it puts forward corresponding suggestions.The final part is research conclusion and prospect,mainly summarizes the conclusion of the empirical analysis and puts forward the deficiencies of the research and makes a prospect on the future research direction.
