Research learning is mainly a high class way of learning which the students initiatively do research on the problem, obtain knowledge, use the knowledge, and solve the problem in a similar way as scientific research under the teacher's guide. The key point of practicing the research learning lies in changing the students' way of learning and changing the teacher's teaching concept and behavior. The aim of practicing research learning in physics teaching in senior high school is cultivating the students' abilities for scientific research. It does good to cultivate the students to do research on the physics problem and test and verify the physics laws in the way of scientific research; to plan and control their own learning process, and solve some problems they met when learning through their own work, and cultivate the ability to learn on their own; to possess a certain ability to doubt, to collect and handle information, to analyze and solve the problem, and to communicate and cooperate; to do research on the mysteries of the natural world willingly and experience the hardships and happiness of researching for the natural laws.This thesis brings out the importance of practicing the "research learning" in physics teaching in senior high school through analysis on the present physics teaching situation in China, and compared the teaching method both home and abroad. It analyzes the connotation, characteristics and learning aims and contains of the research learning theoretically. By analyzing several kinds of research learning theories abroad, it offers theoretical basis for practicing research learning in physics teaching in senior high school, and it analyzes the factors affect the practicing of research learning: teacher factor, students factor, student and teacher factor, social factor and so on, and it offers the methodology for putting research learning into practice.It analyzes the practicing objects and conditions of the research learning in physics teaching in senior high school from the practical aspect, and it brings out the in-class teaching model and task research teaching model through discussing about in-class teaching and task research, and it brings out practical way and method for practicing the research learning in physics teaching in senior high school combining the teaching model abroad. And it analyzes the students' learning evaluation in task research teaching simply, and brings out the relevant evaluating methods.From research and statistics it analyzes the meaning of the research learning inphysics teaching in senior high school: 1) It does good to cultivate the studentscreating spirits and ability.2) It does good to change the students' fixed learningmethod. The research learning does not rely on the learning of the learning of theknowledge on the book, but does emphasize the practicing process of their own bydoing and thinking. It does not mainly rely on the acceptive learning and theteacher's knowledge and skill teaching, it is an initiative learning activity andprocess of the students themselves in stead. 3) It does good to the combination ofthe students' knowledge and competence, theory and practice. Through the spreadof the research learning activity, the students can not only obtain lots of indirectexperience, but also more direct experience; not only learn in class but alsoexperience it in real life and practice, and thus realize the combination of the theoryand practice. 4) It does good to the exploration of the students' latent ability and thedevelopment of their individual personality. But problems still exist when practicing:1) The research learning brings with the strengthen of the students' initiativelearning senses, then how to harmonize the relationship between the learningobjectives, students interests and the teacher's explanation?
