China has a well fame of "Etiquette Nation" all the time. Till now, every Chinese is influenced and regulated by Chinese traditional etiquette, self-consciously or not. Etiquette is those proprieties or behavior criterions, with obvious characteristics of social moral culture, applied for showing mutual kind willing and nice sensibilities in people's social community life. To some extend, etiquette emblematizes civilization degree of a nation, a country. Etiquette education undertakes the great mission of choosing, transferring and developing Chinese traditional virtues. Pupils are not only the successors of Chinese traditional virtues, but also the practiser of new moral criterions in accordance with the time developing. Therefore, etiquette education in pupils is very important.This paper expresses in details about the meaning, content and approach of pupil's etiquette education. Especially, detail contents of pupil's etiquette education are roundly introduced; questions of "what to be taught" are properly answered; approaches of such education are also introduced in details. It's a valued reference for "how to teach" during pupil's etiquette education.Considering the new situation of current market economy, etiquette education is concrete embodiment of comprehensive implement of diathesis education. Through the etiquette education activities, it will help pupils to cultivate grand moral character, healthy and perfect personality, healthy and perfect aesthetic sentiment and method, which is helpful for their development. It will be sure a good foundation for excellent person with ability of new era. It also has important practical and historical meaning to improve morality and diathesis level of our people and socialist mental civilization construction.
