During the present time, the economy is developing fast and the value tropism is getting multiplex, affected by which and the utilitarianism, the etiquette concept of the students in school and even of the whole society becomes weaker and weaker. Therefore, the etiquette education problem becomes more and more prominent. How to carry through the etiquette education more effectively has become the hot topic. Through researching the traditional etiquette and combining the intramural etiquette education practice, the new way for the modern etiquette education has been searched out and a mode is offered to the congener schools just for reference. Based on lots of researches on the domestic and foreign history about the etiquette education, the writer has brought forward the basic idea of the etiquette, which is that the etiquette education should be managed mutually from all parts, is one series course of advancing gradually in due order and should be infiltrated into each subject and activity. Based on that, I bring forward some basic principles more that the etiquette education should follow, namely the principle of the self discipline, of seeing something big from something small, of the total quality and of combining the target quality with the randomicity. In the end, taking the port school in Zhangjiagang city for example, the effect that everybody is self-discipline is got through the nurturance education of "two habits", the civilized etiquette education and the three-ministry education. At the end of this paper, some constructive advice is brought forward for the etiquette education of the middle and primary schools.
