The Chinese nation has long been known as the land of ceremony and propriety and advocating etiquette is a virtue of the Chinese nation.Etiquette is not only related to the basic literacy of nationals,but also reflects the civilization of the county.The epochal characteristics of etiquette require people to follow the development trend of the age,constantly improve their self-cultivation,and become qualified citizens with clear etiquette and integrity.Primary school is the key period for habit formation of individuals.Pupils have strong characteristics of plasticity and imitation ability,which are easily affected by external things and copy others.The primary school stage occupies the most basic and important position in education of all types and all levels Therefore,it is very important and necessary to carry out etiquette education in primary school to help pupils establish correct cognition of etiquette,cultivate good etiquette behaviors and habits,and finally achieve the goal of improving their personality and harmonizing body and mind.Based on previous relevant research,through literature,questionnaire,interview,observation and case study,the study investigates and analyzes the current status of etiquette education for primary school students,then draws the respective corresponding data and conclusions,which aims to conduct attribution on the etiquette education of primary school students,and tries to put forward suggestions and strategies for the current situation and problems in order to promote the development of etiquette education in primary schools in China.In order to fully and clearly explore the current status and problems of etiquette education,this study selected two schools in Shenzhen,Guangdong Province and one school in Chaozhou City,Guangdong Province as research samples,and conducted a comprehensive empirical study of three schools.Firstly,design a questionnaire with appropriate reliability and validity without time and space constrains on the teachers,students and parents in the primary schools of three schools to understand their ideas,orientations,needs and suggestions on etiquette education for primary school students.The basic data obtained from the analysis from questionnaire provide a reliable guarantee for this study.Secondly,NO.A School in Shenzhen was selected for observation in campus and classroom.The study analyzed and summarized the current situation and problems of etiquette of teachers and students in No.A School through various explicit and implicit etiquette behaviors of them on campus in order to accumulate and provide more detailed evidence.Thirdly,the interview outline is designed according to the questions presented in the questionnaire survey.And in-depth interviews are conducted with the managers and teachers of the three schools,so as to more comprehensively and specifically understand and explore the current implementation status and problems of etiquette education in primary schools,with a view to putting forward more targeted measures.Finally,based on the previous work experience of author in etiquette education,the case method was used to sort out the successful cases of etiquette education in Shenzhen city and Xinbei city,Taiwan,hoping to provide reference for summarizing the promotion strategies of etiquette education.Through the above investigation and analysis,the study mainly conducts attribution research on the etiquette education of primary school students from four aspects: school,family,society and national policies.It explores their specific problems and tries to put forward suggestions and strategies that are based on the laws and characteristics of physical and mental development of primary school students.First,give play to the leading role of schools in etiquette education.Second,highlight the basic status of family etiquette education.Third,develop the cooperative co-education by society,school and family.Fourth,bring into play the normative role of government functional departments.
