The reform of new curriculum is being executed in basic education of our country, the reform refers to these objectives that changing students'learning style into inquiry-based learning, cultivating students'ability of exploring science and so on. The reform put forward a new request to teacher's teaching, and is a austere challenge to teacher's educational view. Cultivation of the teacher, quality of the train become the one of the key whether the aim of reform can be put into effect. However, teachers carry on teaching rely on his experience in school mostly other than rely on the theory or practice in teacher's training plan. How to make the teacher try and like inquiry with pleasure, regard inquiry as his learning style, construct knowledge in inquiry and accordingly come into being right comprehension to inquiry-teaching is a worthy research question.This is a case study of narrative. Through my learning and growing story, I find that inquiry by myself is the most important factor that make me change my idea. when I was in the process of inquiry , I felt very confused,I realize that I was"a Curious Novice". If we observe our class, a experiment and even a test problem, from the point of view of"a Curious Novice", we will discover much"inquiry"that not accord with logic, using wrong method. The reason that result in this phenomena is that we are used in the role of"the person who know the inside store"unconsciously."A Curious Novice"make us experience confusing in dark, every little discovery rejoicing and value of discovery. So, we can comprehend how to put students in"a Curious Novice"to design inquiry-teaching, give them enough time for breaking through their confusion, share the enjoyment of discovery.This thesis is made up of four parts. Part one introduces the origin of the problem, research method, collecting data and the intention of the research. Part two is the well-chosen example of inquiring personally and the class of inquiry, exhibit the author's comprehension and attitude in each phase. Part three analyzes and explains why I changed my idea. Part four draws conclusion and reflects on the study.
